This Know Your Customer (KYC) policy governs how Lhlbet collects identity data, performs risk assessment, verifies identities, and monitors activity in relation to user accounts and financial transactions on the platform.
The policy supports compliance with AML/CFT obligations, prevents fraud and underage use, protects customers, and maintains the integrity of the platform by restricting illicit or policy-violating activity.
Lhlbet applies a risk-based framework aligned with international standards. Risk categories include geographical risk based on the user’s country of residence, customer risk such as political exposure and sanctions, and transaction risk. The level of identity verification and ongoing monitoring is determined by the overall risk assessment and updated at onboarding and at regular intervals.
On registration and when triggered by risk indicators, we collect and verify the following information:
Where risk indicators or regulatory requirements necessitate it, we request evidence of the source of funds and wealth. Acceptable documents include employment records, recent pay slips, bank statements, or official letters indicating how funds were generated. The scope of documentation will depend on the user’s country of residence and applicable laws.
Users identified as Politically Exposed Persons or located in high-risk or restricted jurisdictions are subject to enhanced due diligence. This includes additional identity checks, verification of the origin of funds, and a higher level of senior management review and approval before continuing with enhanced activity. Additional documents or data may be requested as needed.
All account activity is continuously monitored for signs of non-compliance or illicit use. Indicators include unusual deposit patterns, use of multiple payment methods, rapid changes in devices or IP addresses, geolocation inconsistencies, or reluctance to provide requested verification information. Suspicions are escalated to the antifraud team for assessment and action.
Deposits and withdrawals must be traceable to the account holder. Third-party card payments and anonymous payment instruments are not accepted. A card payment must be in the name of the registered user; a wallet payment must be associated with the user’s registered email. If a deposit cannot be linked to the user, withdrawal may be reversed to the source instrument or to another verified method in accordance with policy and legal requirements.
We retain KYC records, verification results, and related financial data in secure systems for the period required by applicable law. We implement access controls, encryption, and audit trails. Data processing complies with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR where relevant. Users have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data as applicable, subject to regulatory and licensing constraints.
We may update this policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated through secure channels to the address on file. Continued use of the platform after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
We cooperate with regulatory and law enforcement authorities as required by law and report substantiated concerns or suspicious activity in accordance with applicable regulations.
Questions regarding KYC may be directed to the official support channels available within the user account interface.
